About the Role
You will be working closely with the procurement team analysing subcontractor and supplier quotes, cost and budget analysis across individual projects, review and assessment of company procedures.
In the role you they will have the responsibility of reviewing and analysing elements of our projects. You must also ensure effective forecasting, cost tracking processes and production progress.
Types of Projects
We have multiple projects underway and more to commence soon. Operating within Sydney's booming Northwest & Southwest, Hunter and Illawarra region, these projects vary in size and complexity affording significant experience to the right candidate.
The following duties are anticipated from our successful applicants:
Thorough understanding of the drawings, specifications and quality requirements for all site related activities.
Supporting the implementation of the project quality and control
Assisting with planning, forecasting, analysing and reviewing company expenditure.
Ensuring materials are procured in advance of the requirements of the construction programme.
Assisting in monitoring daily work activities to maximise the utilisation of plant and resources.
Implementing improvements with respect to managing site related costs.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
Commitment to health, safety, environment and quality policies and procedures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills.
Confident in the use of Microsoft office suite and in particular Microsoft Excel.
Self Driven and highly motivated
Desire to be part of a "can do", vibrant and dynamic team.
